One of our recent families came to us after seeing our work at the annual Gulliver Prep gala, parents, three kids aged seventeen, fourteen, and ten, and two dogs who were very much part of the family. They didn't want a quick set of digital files; they commissioned a family portrait for their home, a single piece to live on the wall through a season when the oldest is already looking toward what's next. Photographing older kids and teenagers is some of our favorite work, they bring real personality to a session, and capturing the whole household, dogs included, while everyone's still under one roof is exactly the kind of portrait families come to us for.

Do you photograph on location in Pinecrest? → Our specialty is studio portraiture, a controlled space lets us focus entirely on the true character of each person. We also take on-location commissions, though, and we've photographed families in their own Pinecrest homes. If there's a space you love, let's talk about it.
When's the best time for a session with young kids? → Mornings or after naps, when they're freshest.
Do you only photograph young children? → Not at all. We photograph every age, school-age kids, teenagers, adults, and several generations together in one frame. Our guided studio approach works just as well for a teen's portrait or a full family as for a toddler.
